Many have asked how they can know when they find the right acai. Although we don’t endorse any particular brand, we do feel there are legitimate companies with quality acai berry products.

Here is a guide to finding quality acai from a reputible company:

1) Check out the product labels. Look for a company that uses nutritional facts on their labels. These are a little more detailed and leave less room to mislead the consumer.

2) Any products that claim to use the seeds of the berry are misleading. The seeds of the berry do not enhance the product, in fact, they decrease the quality of the product.

3) Any companies offering free trial offers are not legitimate.

Unfortunately as these dishonest companies misrepresent the acai berry and use it to scam people out of money, they also ruin the good name of the acai berry.

It is important to remember that the acai berry is, in fact, a good fruit that has great benefits. We just need to be diligent to make sure we are investing in products that ensure the integrity of the fruit.

If you got caught up in the hype of the acai berry, don’t despair. There are good products out there. Just do you research before you buy!

If you have already been the victim of an acai berry “free trial” scam there are things you can do to save yourself future costs. Chances are, the dishonest company you gave your credit card information to is either not answering your calls, or is unhelpful is cancelling your automatic shipments and billing. If you are having no luck with the company, there are still things you can do.

1. Contact your credit card company immediately and inform them of the situation and see if they have a solution. You may need to go to the extent of cancelling your current card and ordering a new card. This may be a hassle but will ultimately save you a lot of money.

2. Contact the better business bureau at www.bbb.com. It’s important to report these companies so that we can shut them down and prevent them from taking advantage of thousands more.
